今回は皆様お待ちかねの・・・待っていないかもしれませんが^^;、個人的にはかなり興奮してお届けする『ホビット村』の話です。映画『ロード・オブ・ザ・リング』と『ホビット』の聖地ともいうべき”ホビット村”であります。映画好きな方であれば一度はご覧になったことあるのではないでしょうか。
秋のこの季節は、こんな紅葉が見られます！
コロナウィルスでロックダウンが始まるまで、一週間３〜４日のペースで訪れ、その訪問回数は計２２０回に至るという・・・北島では一番人気の観光スポットです。お客様から、”そんなに来られて飽きませんか？”という質問を受けるのですが、何故か飽きることなく、今日を迎えています。

毎回新鮮な気持ちにさせられるという不思議な世界観がこの”ホビット村”に隠されています。約２週間前、ロックダウンから解除されレベル２に移行したニュージーランド、レベル１を間近に迎えます。しかし９５％の産業が再開されたにもかかわらず、殆どの観光地の門戸は閉ざされたまま、このホビット村も全く眠った状態が続いています。
ニュージーランド経済を大きく支えてきたツーリズムが、復活を遂げるのはいつの日か？一日でも早く再活動することを願うばかりです。ホビット村の魅力についてはブログでは語り尽くせませんが、また今後も色々な写真でご紹介していきます! ^^
Dear all movie lovers, have you ever seen the movies, "The Lord of the Rings" and "Hobbit"? If so, The Hobbiton Village must be a sacred place that you must visit while staying in NZ! Before the lockdown in NZ went off, I had been there 3-4 times a week which has come to 220 visits in total so far, therefore the Hobbiton Village is obviously the most popular tourist spot in North island. I am often asked how bored you got to be...I don't know why but the Hobbiton Village resets myself every time I visit, finding the secret of the unique vision. It is almost 2 weeks since we moved to Level 2 in NZ. Although 95% industries have been reopen, most of the famous tourist spots remain still closed as well as the Hobbit Village. Hopefully NZ tourism will recover in the near future as it is significant part of NZ economy! I will keep you updating its information and upload the other photos in The Hobbiton later.
